Leicester City midfielder, Wilfried Ndidi believes his side were unfortunate to lose 2-0 to Arsenal at the King Power Stadium, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Foxes conceded two late goals to substitute Mikel Merino, succumbing to their third consecutive defeat.
Ndidi acknowledged the difficulty of the match but felt Leicester performed well against a strong Arsenal side.
"It was a difficult game, we stayed on till they scored the first goal," Ndidi told Leicester TV.
"It's quite a tough game, but we did well, to be honest. We needed to because we were playing against a top team, and it's something we will take the positives to the next one."
Ndidi attributed the defeat to bad luck, highlighting Leicester's solidity and togetherness throughout the match.
"We knew we were still in the game, we were just unlucky we conceded the first goal. We were still in it because we were together, stayed compact," he said.
The defeat leaves Leicester 19th in the Premier League table, two points from safety.
