Speaking to reporters at Wednesday's pre-match press conference, Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Wilfred Ndidi will certainly be involved when his side tackle Zorya Luhansk in this evening's Europa League fixture at the Zaporizhzhya City Stadium.

The Nigeria national teamer was spotted boarding a flight to Ukraine yesterday ahead of the matchday five fixture.

Ndidi hasn't played for the Foxes since suffering a tear in the abductor muscle during the clash against Burnley on September 20 - an injury which required surgery.

Rodgers was unable to include the Super Eagles on his squad list for thirteen consecutive matches because he was undergoing rehabilitation.

On injured players, Rodgers said : "Ndidi will play for us, Soyuncu too. So it's going to be really good. Ricardo has played an Under-23s game.

"They're very important for us and it's fantastic to have them back. Castagne is still out."

Ndidi has appeared in sixteen European matches with six of them earned in the Europa League proper.
