Ndidi Confirms EPL Move After Playing Last Game For Genk

Published on: 28 December 2016

Genk midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has confirmed he has played his last game for the club prior to moving to Leicester City.

Ndidi played in Tuesday night’s 2-0 win over Gent and the 20-year-old will join Premier League champions Leicester City for £15million at the end of the week.

‘This was my last game for Genk,’ he said. Ndidi has already passed his initial medical tests with Leicester.

Genk have signed 18-year-old Norwegian midfielder Sander Berge, a one-time Everton target, as Ndidi’s replacement.

Leicester have struggled to match last season’s stunning Premier League title win since the start of the new campaign.

Claudio Ranieri’s side are only three points above the relegation zone following Monday’s 2-0 defeat at the King Power to Everton.
