Leicester City was in action two days after their box day game against Newcastle United and it was another defeat for the Foxes, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
This time it was a bitter pill to swallow as they suffered a painful 2-1 loss at Anfield against giants, Liverpool.
Nigeria midfielder, Wifred Ndidi was the captain of the day and made his own impact for the 57 minutes he was involved in the game.
For his compatriot, Kelechi Iheanacho, he was another substitute in the game playing for 19 minutes just like the match at the King Power Stadium against the Magpies.
It was Leicester City who drew first blood as Dewsbury-Hall scored the opening goal of the game after the halfway mark.
Daka flicked the ball into his path, with the midfielder darting through the middle of the pitch and dribbling around Henderson. One-on-one with Alisson, he found the back of the net.
However, it was Wout Faes who became the antagonist for his own side as he put the ball at the back of the net, a hard goal to concede from a Leicester perspective.
Alexander-Arnold’s low cross forced Faes to get across the box. Looking to clear it away, he sliced it completely, with the ball looping over Ward and into the net seven minutes to go into the break.
It was going get worse for Faes who scored another own goal few minutes later just before the end of the half.
Nunez was one-on-one with Ward, chipping it over the goalkeeper. With defenders rushing back, the ball bounced off the post and against Faes who turned it into his own net.
The score line remained that way even after chances in the second to change it. It became a result after 90 minutes.
Defeat for Leicester, meanwhile, means they remain 13th and four points above the relegation zone.
