As reported by multiple sources and Mexican media, another United States born player with dual citizenship is set to make the switch in football federations.

This time is Julian Araujo's turn. The Los Angeles Galaxy player in fact, officially requested a federation change from the U.S Soccer Federation to the Federacion Mexicana de Futbol, which would make him elegible to represent Mexico in international play. The L.A. Galaxy youth product, as of right now, would not be able to don Mexico's colors, has he has already made one official appearance with the U.S. National team, hence the request. This comes on the heels of another federation change submission by goalkeeper David Ochoa of Real Salt Lake.

According to the reports, these changes come as a consequence of U.S. Federation's alleged discrimination against Mexican-American players, who are often snubbed in National team call-ups. Whether there is any truth to that it is yet to be seen, however the U.S. is losing good players because of it. We'll see whether this tendency continues or the Soccer Federation addresses it.
