Nasarawa Amazons continued to edge closer in their bid to secure a Super Six qualification a testament win over Confluence Queens in Lafia, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Lafia Landladies proved too much for the relegation-bound Kogi State club as it ended 5-0 at the Lafia City Stadium, Nasarawa.
Amina Bello started the onslaught with the opener after two minutes played. Jenat Akekeromowei doubled the lead a minute later.
She would get her brace in the 5th minute before completing her hat trick on 24 minutes to keep the score 4-0 at halftime.
Josephine Matthias topped up the goals in the 57th minute to secure the win. The win keeps the Amazons in third place with 24 points, a point adrift second place Remo Stars Ladies in group A.
