Former Napoli defender, Ruben Maldonado believes the Serie A side missed Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen in their last games, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Osimhen has been out injured since the end if the international break missing the last two game.
His absence has seen Napoli had their biggest defeat for the season against AC Milan (4-0) and managed to triumph over Lecce, an underdog.
"Osimhen is an extraordinary and fundamental striker, one of a kind,” Maldonado told Napoli Magazine.
“His presence, or absence as we have seen recently, can make itself felt, but I have faith in the group that coaches the coach.”
The Serie A leaders will hope Osimhen will be fit for their UEFA Champions League clash against AC Milan.
