Reports suggest that Napoli has turned down an offer from Chelsea for Victor Osimhen, which included the inclusion of Romelu Lukaku as part of the deal, alongside cash, Nigeriasoccenet.com scoops.
According to II Matino via Napoli Magazine, Chelsea attempted to convince Napoli to part ways with their prized striker, but the Italian champions rebuffed the proposal.
Now, Chelsea must revisit negotiations, this time potentially utilizing 22-year-old striker Armando Broja, previously linked with Napoli, to facilitate their pursuit of Osimhen.
Napoli has already set a price tag for Osimhen at around €130 million, and Chelsea is seeking to negotiate a lower fee for his services.
Chelsea will have to make the next offer worth convince the Serie A champions as Paris St-Germain are willing to meet of the the final demand in Osimhen’s contract.
