Napoli have contacted the representatives of Real Madrid midfielder Franco Mastantuono to explore whether a deal could be made for the Argentina international.
Mastantuono, 19, is currently playing for Fiorentina on loan from the Spanish club. According to transfer insider Ekrem Konur on social media, Napoli’s management has approached the player’s representatives to assess the viability of a move.
The midfielder’s position at Fiorentina has also come under scrutiny after reports suggested he could return to Real Madrid before the end of his loan spell in Florence.
Mastantuono has made four appearances in Serie A this season and has scored three goals. His loan agreement with Fiorentina is due to run until the end of June 2027.
