Former Ghana Premier League Golden Shoe Award winner Nana Poku continues to dominate the headlines in the Egyptian Premier League with goals as he bagged his 10th goal of the season.
The 22-year-old increased his season tally to ten goals on Saturday when he snatched a point for El Shorta in their 2-2 draw game with Petrojet on Saturday.
Shorta were losing 2-0 at their favourite Al-Shorta Stadium before the former Berekum Arsenal forward rose up to the challenge and assisted Islam Abou Slemma to halve the deficit on the hour mark.
He then ensured Shorta salvaged a point from the by scoring in the 77th minute. It was a well taken goal with Poku being the architect himself - his flicking header found Slemma who chested for a return-pass for Poku who raced to power the ball home for the leveller.
Poku is gradually inching closer to taking over the top-scorer's chart in the Egyptian top-flight as he is now two goals within leader John Antwi who has left the league.
