Ho Chi Minh City: Indonesia crashed out of the 2017 ASEAN Futsal Championship going down 3-1 against Myanmar, while Vietnam raced past Brunei 16-0 in Group A action at the Phu Tho Stadium on Sunday.

Vietnam and Myanmar advance to the semi-finals of the 2017 ASEAN Futsal Championship with top spot in the group still up for grabs.

Pyae Phyo Maung scored in each half while Kyaw Soe Moe added another for good measure to steer Myanmar past Victor Hermans' side who have now lost their last two matches.

The shock loss to Myanmar leaves Indonesia out of contention for the semi-finals of the 2017 ASEAN Futsal Championship as well as the 2018 AFC Futsal Championship Finals.

Myanmar went in front in the third minute off a counter attack when Aung Aung squared the ball for Maung to find the back of the net from close range.

Indonesia found their equaliser through Syauqi Saud's rocket off a corner five minutes later for a 1-1 score at halftime.

Myanmar, however, went ahead four minutes after the break with Maung finding a way past Indonesia goalkeeper Muhammad Albagir after a scramble in the penalty box.

Moe picked up his first goal of the tournament five minutes from time as Htay Myint's side walked away with the three points.

Tran Thai Huy sizzled against Brunei, scoring four goals to take his tally to eight in the tournament as Vietnam climbed to the summit of Group A.

In a one-sided match, Vietnam surged past Yunos Yusof's side in the first half, taking a 7-0 lead at halftime.

The Golden Star kicked into overdrive in the second half, hitting 11 goals past Brunei goalkeeper Husin Aji.

Phung Trong Luan and Ngo Ngoc Son picked up a hat-tricks as Vietnam signed off with a 16-0 win.
