In addition to £65,000 a week, plus £20,000 for each start in the Barclays Premier League, the Ghana forward wanted a landmark goal bonus and an international goal bonus', along with a loyalty bonus' if he remained with the same club for just two seasons.
Ayew, who has since joined Swansea, also wanted a £2m signing-on fee, to be paid in four instalments spread over his first 19 months, when he was being hawked around the Premier League.
