Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho has spoken about former manager Carlo Ancelotti, recalling how he responded to a request from the Italian.
Ancelotti left his position in charge of Real Madrid in 2025, while Mourinho returned to the club a year later.
Ancelotti first managed the Spanish club from 2013 to 2015 before beginning a second spell in 2021. Since summer 2025, he has been head coach of Brazil.
