Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has questioned the process used to appoint referees for La Liga matches involving his side.
Mourinho said Los Blancos already know, three weeks before a fixture, which official will take charge of the game.
His comments followed Real Madrid’s match against Villarreal in the sixth round of the Spanish championship. Mourinho did not attend the post-match press conference after that encounter.
It later emerged that his absence was prompted by his dissatisfaction with the referee’s decisions, including the sending-off of Vinicius.
