Former Spartak player Alexander Mostovoy has discussed the future of Russia and Monaco central midfielder Aleksandr Golovin, amid reports that the 30-year-old could return to the Russian Premier League.
Speculation about a possible move back to Russia emerged in the press during the summer transfer window. Mostovoy was asked how long Golovin should remain abroad before considering a return to domestic football.
Golovin joined Monaco from CSKA Moscow in 2018. The Russia international has made six appearances for the French club this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
