Nigerian forward, Moses Simon has expressed his gratitude to FC Nantes fans after receiving a warm welcome during their friendly match against Paris FC, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The winger, who played for Nantes from 2019 to 2025, was honored with a tribute at the Stade de la Beaujoire.
Simon, played for Nantes for six successful years before joining Paris FC in a €7m deal this summer, was honored by the club and fans at the Stade de la Beaujoire.
As he returned to Nantes for the first time since his departure, he was given a guard of honor and received loud applause from the supporters.
He was also presented with a special plaque to commemorate his time at the club.

Simon's heartfelt message reflects his appreciation for the fans and the club he once called home.
"Thank you for the warm welcome at FC Nantes. Honoured by the tribute and grateful to play again in front of the amazing Nantes fans. It was also special to reunite with my former teammates,” Simon wrote on X.
The match ended 3-2 in favor of Paris FC, but the focus was on the emotional tribute to Simon, who clearly holds a special place in the hearts of Nantes fans.
