Nigeria's Super Eagles have received a timely boost with winger Moses Simon's return from injury, ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Benin Republic and Rwanda, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Simon had missed Nantes' 3-1 defeat to Strasbourg due to a knee injury but has resumed training, making him available for selection.
"Moses Simon is back with us. He had minor knee problems," Nantes manager Antoine Kombouaré confirmed in a press conference.
Simon's return is a welcome addition for the Super Eagles, following his impressive display in Nigeria's 1-0 win over Libya last month, where he provided a crucial assist.
The Super Eagles face Benin Republic on November 13 and host Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo four days later.
Simon's availability strengthens Nigeria's attacking options as they seek to maintain their unbeaten run in AFCON qualifying.
