FC Nantes winger Moses Simon is reportedly close to bringing his six year stay with the Yellow and Green outfit to an end after agreeing to join newly promoted Paris FC with medicals already completed, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

With just a year left on his current deal, Nantes were not willing to take the risk of letting run down his deal and leave on a free transfer. Despite being initially adamant of letting one of their key players depart, they finally succumbed to a bid of €7m.

As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 29-year old is set to be announced as a new Paris player in the coming days although contract and other necessary documentation remains uncompleted.

This move also comes with a significant pay rise. At Nantes, he was earning approximately €38,000 per week, but his new deal with Paris FC will see his salary nearly double to around €75,000 per week. This marks the most lucrative contract of his career so far, reflecting both his rising profile and the club’s confidence in his abilities.

Last season, Simon was arguably Nantes best player, notching eight goals, ten assists in 32 league appearances.
