Moses To Rejoin Stoke City Again

Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses could be on his way back to Stoke City this summer, as The Potters are said to have launched a bid to snatch him back on loan.

Moses previously spent time at The Britannia Stadium, as he was also on loan from Chelsea to Stoke two seasons ago, alongside fellow-Nigerian attacker, Peter Osaze Odemwingie, and all talk at the start of this week is now hinting in the direction of a return for the crafty winger.

Though Moses’ first term at Stoke was riddled with injury and he left even before the end of the season back to Chelsea for medical attention, there seems to be some left-over love for his style of play at The Potters.

Moses had initially been tipped to stage a bold battle for a permanent shirt with Chelsea in the coming season, but latest news out of Queensland indicates that the former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic star, who spent last time out on loan at West Ham United and an earlier spell with Liverpool, is now inching towards rejoining Stoke.

So much has been highlighted by a top British newspaper, The Sentinel, which stated Tuesday that Moses is heading back to Stoke because he is not expected to figure prominently in new Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte’s plans.

Amidst reports that Moses could be available for loan again, he is now said to be again on Stoke’s radar, having shown his potential during his previous stint with the club in 2014/15, despite a series of injuries.

The 25-year-old winger’s form under Mark Hughes persuaded Chelsea to tie him down to a four-year contract last summer – but injuries again disrupted a season on loan at West Ham.
