Moses, Adams score as Nantes triumph

Nigerian duo Moses Simon and Akor Adams were both on the score sheet as their clubs Nantes and Montpelier clashed in the French Ligue 1 match day 2 on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Simon scored from the spot while Akor Adams opened his account for the season, in FC Nantes 3-1 victory over Montpellier at Stade de la Mosson.

Mathis Abline opened the score for the visitors in 23 minutes after executing a superb pass from Tino before Adams restored parity for the hosts seven minutes later.

With nothing to choose between the two sides at halftime, Nantes started the second half with high momentum, getting a penalty at the start of the half.

Simon stepped up and sent Lecomte the wrong way to restore Nantes' lead.

On 82 minutes, Nantes made changes as Coco was replaced by Leroux while Simon exited for Guirassy.

Egyptian striker, Mostafa Mohamed consolidated victory two minutes later for the who have their next meeting against Reims à La Beaujoire.
