CCL Review: Morsi strike Down Enyimba in Port Harcourt

Enyimba of Nigeria lost their Group B, CAF Champions League encounter against Zamalek of Tunisia 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

A solitary strike by Morsi Bassin ensured the White Knights were ahead as early as the eighth minute to bag the win.

The victory elevates the Egyptian Premier League giants to second spot on the log with three points.

Despite the effort by the hosts, they failed to open the Egyptian-based sides defence to grab an equaliser.

It was 1-0 at the interval.

In the second stanza, the score remained unchanged and the Egyptians continued to dominate the proceedings.

However, Zamalek, now trail Mamelodi Sundowns who managed to beat Algerian outfit ES Setif 2-0 on Saturday night in Tunisia.

The Nigerians are now faced with a task to beat Pitso Mosimane's Sundowns in South Africa on 29 June 2016.

Following the loss, Enyimba have zero points in their campaign after one match and occupy the third spot on top of Setif.
