Morocco head coach, Mohamed Ouahbi has acknowledged the difficulty of his side's group at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, but is confident of their chances, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The North Africans have been drawn into Group B alongside regional rivals Egypt, Nigeria, and South Africa.
Nigeria is the most successful team in the competition's history, with seven titles, while Egypt has won it four times.
Ouahbi accepted the challenge posed by the group but insisted that his team's goal was to win the tournament.
"It's a challenging group with strong teams," Ouahbi said. "Nigeria, which has a rich history in the competition, Egypt, which we know well, and South Africa, which is making great strides at the youth level."
"We've been preparing this generation for two years to win the tournament," he added.
