AS Monaco's captain Wissam Ben Yedder over the weekend equalled the goal record of ex Nigeria international, Victor Ikpeba.
Yedder scored a hattrick in Monaco's win over Nantes at the Stade Louis-II which placed him as joint in sixth place on the scorers' chart of the club's history.

His third goal from the penalty spot took his goal tally for the club to 77 in all competition which leaves him at par with the club legend, Ikpeba.
Delio Onnis is the club's highest goal scorer with 223 goals followed by Lucien Cossou who scored 115 goals. Christian Dalger is third on the scorers' book with 89 goals while Radamel Falcao with 83 goals is fourth
Victor Ikpeba and Wissam Ben Yedder now shares the fifth spot on the club's all time scorers in all competition.
Ikpeba, regarded as the "Prince of Monaco" scored 55 goals in the Ligue 1 for Monaco, fourteen in European competitions, three in the Coupe de la Ligue, four in the Coupe de France and one in the Trophée des Champions.
He later left the club for German side, Borussia Dortmund in 1999.
