Controversial Ghana football icon Mohammed Polo has backed free agent Sulley Muntari to find a club sooner rather than later.

Muntari 30-years-old terminated his contract with Italian giants AC Milan after finding out he was not in the plans of the Red and Blacks.

Muntari joined Milan from rivals Inter in 2012 and quickly re-established his career after struggling to hold down playing time in his last season with Inter Milan.

The controversial Ghanaian who is best described as a tragic hero in his native Ghana, following some truly great moments on the pitch and an equally unaccepted behavior off it, is now a free agent following the termination of his contract.

The former Portsmouth and Udinese man slammed his jersey on the ground furiously after being substituted in a game against Torino last season for some that was the beginning of the end for the highly talented but controversial footballer.

But despite concerns of temper and age catching up with Muntari, Polo says he is well oiled in enough to still make it in one of Europe’s elite.

“Muntari is experienced and has a lot of powerful men in football and you can’t take that away from him,” Polo said

“We will have to wait and see but for me I still think he won’t struggle at all to find a club in Europe.”

Serie A side AFC Fiorentina have shown interest in signing him up whiles some English portals have also muted a possible return to the English Premier league.
