Atlanta United reserves Robbie Mertz, Phillip Goodrum, and Caleb Wiley were named to the USL Championship's Team of the Week for Week 17 of the 2021 regular season on Tuesday.
In Week 17, the ATL UTD reserves earned four points in two games. Atlanta came back from a one-goal hole twice to tie 2-2 with OKC Energy FC on Wednesday. Then, on Saturday, Atlanta cruised to a 4-1 victory over Sporting KC II, securing three points on the road.
ATL UTD reserves (25 points) will return to action against Pittsburgh Riverhounds on August 22 at Highmark Stadium.
