CF Montreal and goalkeeper James Pantemis recently agreed to a contract extension that runs through 2022 with a club option for 2023.
Pantemis who is a young goalkeeper with experience playing in USL and for Canadian youth national teams had been serving as the club's starter without Clement Diop, who recently agreed to contract termination.
The player has missed the last couple of games due to health issues. Sebastian Breza took over but CF Montreal has recalled sensational goalkeeper, Jonathan Sirois from his loan with Valour FC.
