MK Dons Looking at Ryan Giggs to Replace Ex-Long Serving Manager Karl Robinson

League One side MK Dons are looking at Ryan Giggs to replace ex-long serving manager Karl Robinson, with the Dons currently one spot outside the relegation zone after being relegated from the Championship last season.

According to the "?Daily Mail, Ryan Giggs is the number one target for the League One outfit and chairman Pete Winkelman is looking into a change of strategy at the Stadium MK to boost the morale at the club after zero wins in their last five games.

Winkelman is hinting at looking around the globe for a manager and isn't looking for League One experience in his man.

Wolverhampton Wanderers recently sacked Walter Zenga which shows foreign managers in the lower league of English football doesn't always work out as we see year in year out.

Ryan Giggs won't be taking the MK Dons job - but there might be some interesting vacancies in the Championship soon!

The Dons chairman has appointed Roberto Di Matteo and ex-United man Paul Ince as managers and knows Giggs could be an ideal manager for the Dons. The Welshman has been linked with Wigan Athletic after they sacked Gary Caldwell this week after promotion last season, with sacking season well and truly underway.

Former MK Dons player Paul Mitchell is in the running, but an unknown name to the club is not beyond the realms of possibility as Winkelman is looking towards adding a fresh face to the environment in his search for a somewhat late push for promotion back to the Championship.
