Milan could soon activate an option to extend Christian Pulisic’s contract, with club owner Gerry Cardinale viewing the United States midfielder as one of the team’s leading players.
Cardinale believes Pulisic should remain at the club, a position reportedly shared by head coach Ruben Amorim, according to The Athletic.
The proposed extension would be handled in two stages. Milan would initially retain Pulisic for an additional season, taking his contract through to 2028, before opening discussions over a longer-term agreement.
Pulisic has made three appearances for Milan in the 2026/2027 season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
The 28-year-old’s market value is estimated at €35m by Transfermarkt.
