Milan have been forced to release a statement after goalkeeper Mike Maignan was subjected to racial abuse during their 3-0 defeat by Bournemouth in England.
Maignan was sent off by the 20th minute, and was targeted by a stream of insults as he left the pitch alongside receiving his red card.
The result made for a particularly difficult outing for Milan, with Maignan and the team enduring a disappointing performance against Bournemouth.
Maignan has played for the club since 2021.
