Milan are considering former Morocco international Mehdi Benatia as part of plans to restructure the club’s management team and bring in experienced football specialists.
Benatia ended his playing career five years ago before joining Olympique de Marseille as a sporting adviser in 2023. He was appointed the French club’s sporting director in January last year and remained in the role until the end of the season.
The 38-year-old is currently not holding an executive position at any club and is waiting for a new opportunity, according to derbyderbyderby.it.
Milan are currently fifth in the Serie A table.
