Middlesbrough confirm exit of young Nigerian forward

Darlington has bolstered their squad with the loan signing of promising young striker Hazeem Bakre from Middlesbrough until the end of the season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 19-year-old forward has been in impressive form for Middlesbrough's PL2 side this season, scoring six goals in nine appearances. Bakre's development will continue with the Quakers, who currently sit 10th in the National League North and are vying for promotion.

This loan move follows a brief spell with Dagenham & Redbridge earlier in the campaign, where he gained experience in the National League, making three appearances. Bakre's strong performances this season earned him a new contract with Middlesbrough.

Darlington would be hoping Bakre's goalscoring prowess can aid their push for promotion as the striker is expected to go straight into the squad for Saturday's home game against Marine.
