Michael Carrick has confirmed that Lisandro Martinez has been included in the Manchester United squad for the upcoming match against Leeds.
The defender criticised the club’s leadership after Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat by Atletico in the Champions League on 13 October, saying the squad had not been strengthened sufficiently.
Martinez later apologised for his comments, with Carrick saying the player had acknowledged that he had made a mistake.
