MC Alger are set to face ASN Nigelec on Saturday at 19:00 GMT in the second leg of the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, with the Algerian side looking to turn a goalless first-leg draw into progress.
Manager Khaled Ben Yahia could make changes to his starting XI as he seeks to strengthen MC Alger’s attacking options. The two teams were unable to break the deadlock in the opening match, leaving the tie finely balanced ahead of the return fixture.
MC Alger began the first leg with Ramdane in goal, behind a defence of Khelif, Abdellaoui, Ferhat and Bangoura. Ghezala, Halaimia and Abdelkader formed the midfield, while Konate, Naidji and Ben Haoua were selected in attack.
That line-up had been reported by the press before the first meeting.
The expected MC Alger team is:
Ramdane; Khelif, Abdellaoui, Ferhat, Bangoura; Ghezala, Halaimia, Abdelkader; Konate, Naidji, Ben Haoua.
