Fayza Lamari, the mother of Real Madrid and France forward Kylian Mbappe, has been questioned in France as part of an investigation into alleged corruption.
Lamari is suspected of asking Mohamed Sanhadji, the former head of security for the France national team, to help obtain four visas.
However, according to The Touchline, citing L’Equipe, Lamari has not been formally charged. She is currently being treated as a witness in the case.
Mbappe himself has also been questioned as part of the investigation. Authorities are examining a payment of €60,300 made by the footballer to Sanhadji.
