Matvey Safonov was the key figure as Paris Saint-Germain secured their first Ligue 1 victory of the season with a 1-0 win over Brest in the fourth round.
Ferran Torres put the visitors ahead in the fifth minute, but Brest created several opportunities to level the match. Safonov kept them out, saving all five shots on target.
The result gives Luis Enrique’s side their first league victory of the campaign. The reigning champions have five points from their opening four matches.
