Defending champions Asante Kotoko won their first match of the 2015 Ghana Premier League season with a comfortable 2-0 win at BA United in Sunyani on Sunday.
Goals from Jordan Opoku and Ahmed Toure ensured the Porcupine Warriors made amends for their opening day defeat to Aduana and the home draw with Hasaacas.
Captain Opoku pounced on spilled free-kick by goalkeeper Iddrisu Abubakar to slot home the opener in the 16th minute.
After the break, dreaded striker Toure, totally left unmarked, directed in a corner from close range.
Kotoko have now improved to fifth place on the table.
