Richard Arhin scored a second-half brace to help Aduana Stars fight from behind to beat visiting Berekum Chelsea 2-1 at the Agyeman Badu Park in Dormaa Ahenkro on Sunday.
This Ghana Premier League tie was a regional derby as both teams are based in the Brong Ahafo Region.
Berekum Chelsea put their recent boardroom crisis behind them as they took the lead in the 32nd minute through midfielder Samuel Kyere.
But the Fire staged a strong second-half display to level the scoring through forward Richard Arhin.
The recent weeks has not been good for Chelsea as they have suffered points deduction following a FIFA sanction. But as they displayed a fortnight ago against Heart of Lions at the Golden City Park in Berekum, they showed a strong first-half display, beating the host to their own game.
Aduana fans were stunned when Kyere applied a simplistic finish to a pass from his team-mate inside the box to put his side ahead.
Kyere's goal stood until Arhin returned from the break to level for Aduana.
Chelsea's hope of getting at least a point from the game was dashed when Arhin netted his second goal of the game to win it for the Fire club.
