Ghana defender Masahudu Alhassan made his return from injury in Latina’s 2-1 defeat to Catania in the Serie B on Sunday.
The left-back had been in the treatment room since suffering an illness last month.
But his return could not help Latina to the points at home despite playing the entire duration.
Alhassan was making his 12th league appearance for the club who lie 16th on the 22-team table.
