Arsenal and Norway midfielder Martin Odegaard missed training on Tuesday after suffering an ankle injury during the closing stages of the match against Portugal.

His availability for Norway’s forthcoming fixtures remains uncertain, according to EPL Index.

Odegaard was hurt after a collision with Bernardo Silva and was seen leaving the stadium with a limp after the game. Norway head coach Stale Solbakken said the national team’s medical staff were in regular contact with Arsenal over the player’s condition.

The midfielder’s ankle was less painful on Tuesday than it had been the previous day, assistant manager Brede Hangeland said.

Norway face Wales on Thursday before playing Portugal again on Sunday.
