Wikki Tourists have short listed Warri Wolves coach Mansur Abdullahi to replace Abdu Maikaba, who has moved to Akwa United.
The former Plateau United coach was invited by Wikki, who will campaign in next year’s CAF Confederation Cup after they finished third in the league, for an interview on Thursday.
Mansur went down with Warri Wolves this past season after taking over an already sinking ship by Week 29 of the season.
He has said he has discussed his future with Wolves, but at the same time, he will be open to other offers should the Wolves deal not come through.
“The season has ended and I have discussed with Warri Wolves and I am still waiting to hear from them,” Mansur said.
“But if for some reasons another opportunity comes and I don’t hear from them, why won’t I pick it?”
