Manchester United's Marcus Rashford Claims He's Learning From Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Winning Mentality

"?Manchester United striking sensation Marcus Rashford says he's learning all the time from fellow frontman Zlatan Ibrahimovic, mainly thanks to his elite mentality, as per "?manutd.com

When Ibrahimovic arrived at Old Trafford in the summer, much was made of the fact he would limit Rashford's opportunities for playing time, but the 18-year-old has expressed how much he appreciates the opportunity to learn from the Swede.

The presence of Ibrahimovic has restricted Rashford to substitute appearances and starts from the wing - he has only started as centre-forward once during Jose Mourinho's reign thus far. But the United academy product appears unconcerned and keen to learn.

The Wythenshawe lad has netted four goals from his nine United appearances since the former Chelsea manager took over at Old Trafford, with a hat-trick for England's Under 21s also helping him secure a return to the Three Lions' senior side.

"[Playing with Ibrahimovic] has been amazing," Rashford stated. "We have a lot of world-class players in the team, especially in the forwards like Zlatan and Wayne [Rooney].

''For the young lads, we can't ask for anything better. The likes of [myself], Anthony [Martial] and Jesse [Lingard] - watching these forwards and how they train, their mentality is so, so important."

"You can't ask for more," Rashford continued, effusive in his praise. "Zlatan is very easy to speak to and he's easy to get along with. The way he approaches every game is about winning.

''He wants to win, regardless of the opponent, whether we are home or away, whatever the odds, he always wants to find a way to win.

''That mentality is what you need to succeed at the top level. That is where he is and where he has been for years."
