Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has identified Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface as a potential target ahead of next summer's transfer window, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
According to reports, Boniface is one of several strikers on United's shortlist as Amorim looks to revamp his squad ahead of his first full season at Old Trafford.
Amorim is believed to be unhappy with his current options upfront, with Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee left on the bench for his first game in charge against Ipswich.

Marcus Rashford, who was deployed as a central striker, scored the opening goal but struggled to make an impact throughout the game.
Boniface, meanwhile, played a key role in Leverkusen's impressive unbeaten run in the Bundesliga last season.
United's interest in Boniface is likely to spark a summer transfer battle, with the 23-year-old Nigerian striker reportedly attracting attention from several top European clubs.
