Manchester United have cancelled a team dinner planned for Thursday following their Champions League defeat by Atletico Madrid, according to The Sun.
The 2-0 loss in Madrid on Tuesday extended United’s winless run in all competitions to five matches, with the club’s results this season continuing to fall below expectations.
Michael Carrick’s side will try to respond when they travel to face Leeds on Sunday, 18 October, in the seventh round of the Premier League. Kick-off is scheduled for 16:00 Moscow time.
United will then return to Champions League action just three days later, travelling to Italy to play Como.
