Manchester Evening News has reported that the central defender is among the five youngsters added to the first team roster.

His only competitive appearance in the new season came against Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League playoffs, where he lasted 30 minutes on the Etihad Stadium turf after replacing Three Lions starlet John Stones.
