Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has highlighted the difference between his club’s spending on new midfielders and Manchester United’s investment in the position.
Manchester City have spent almost €400m on midfielders alone, while Manchester United, who spent the summer looking to strengthen in central midfield, invested less than €180m on new players.
