Sterling has scored 16 goals in 17 appearances for club and country this season
Raheem Sterling scored an 11-minute hat-trick as Manchester City came from behind to thrash Atalanta in the Champions League.
All Sterling's goals came in a devastating second-half display by the forward, with the Italians unable to cope with his pace and movement.
But there was a disappointing end to the night for 19-year-old Phil Foden, as he was sent off after picking up a second yellow card.
City had taken a while to get going and fell behind to a Ruslan Malinovskiy penalty after a foul in the box by Fernandinho.
But Sergio Aguero quickly equalised with a poacher's finish before converting from the spot to put City ahead for the first time in the game.
From then on, Sterling took centre stage. He slammed home his first goal of the night after unselfish play by Foden before curling in his second soon after.
The England international then prodded home Riyad Mahrez's cross to complete a superb hat-trick.
