Ahead of the round 16 UEFA Champions League clash against Aston Villa tomorrow, Club Brugge has received a major boost with the return of midfield ace Raphael Onyedika, who missed the last league game against KAA Gent through injury, Nigeraiscoocernet.com writes.
With so much anticipation building for the sold-out showdown, the Nigerian midfielder who was included in the final squad list was pictured in the team's training session today as the Belgian outfit will take on Aston Villa in the first leg of the eighth final of the Champions League.
This isn't the first time that both clubs would be meeting this season. Onyedika was involved as they defeated the English side during the first round of the UCL, and they would be hoping to do the same again in front of their roaring home fans.
Much more beyond club action, Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle would also be relieved to have the midfielder fully fit ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda this month.
