"?Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Ousmane Dembele is 'freakin' amazing,' says Mainz defender Leon Balogun after the two sides met in the Bundesliga.
The 19-year-old, bought from Rennes at the start of the summer, made his Bundesliga debut on Saturday as Thomas Tuchel's side defeated Mainz 2-1 thanks to a brace from last season's top-scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but it was his young teammate who stole the plaudits Balogun.
"This Dembele kid is unbelievable," he said. "I said during the game to Aubameyang: 'Woah! What kid did you buy there?'

"He's freaking amazing, unbelievable. I don't know how old he is - 18, 19?
"He's so calm, very skillful, his speed is unbelievable. So congrats to Dortmund for getting that kind of player.
"I think they will have a lot of fun with him. He has a great future ahead."

Dembele came to the attention of Manchester United fans when he ripped their side's defence apart during a pre-season friendly, ghosting past Marcos Rojo before finishing powerfully in what was a truly eye-catching goal.
Dembele will be afforded the opportunity to shine once again on the grandest stage when Dortmund face Real Madrid in the Champions League after being drawn alongside the holders in Group F.
