The Udinese shot-stopper, set to feature against Rwanda, emphasized the importance of capitalizing on the immense talent within the squad under interim coach Augustine Eguavoen.
In a conversation with Victor Modo, Okoye described the tournament as a significant moment for the team and the country. “This is the moment I’ve been waiting for. I’ve been attending camp for a long time now, and finally, I have the chance to play again,” Okoye said. Grateful for the opportunity, he is eager to deliver a top performance.
