Madu Patience Ndidi, 9 other referees selected for CAF Women's Champions League

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected ten referees for the CAF Champions League that will take place in Morocco from October 30- November 13, 2022.

 

Nigeria's Madu Patience Ndidi and 9 other referees were selected to be as the centre referees.

The nine other referees are: Shahenda Saad Ali Elmaghrabi (Egypt), Akona Zenith Makalima (South Africa), Mame Coumba Faye (Senegal), Shamira Nabadda (Uganda) and Zomadre Sonia Kore (Cote D'Ivoire).

 

Others are Arnedome Vincentia Enyonam (Togo), Suavis Iratunga (Burundi) Twanyanyukwa N.Antsino (Morocco) and El Ajjani Fatima Zahra of Morocco.

 

CAF also included twelve assistant referees and seven VAR officers to officiate the matches.

 

Ndidi was one of the five African referees who went to the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

 

She refereed at the WAFCON and the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.

 

She became the first Female Referee to be appointed to officiate the Men's Aiteo Cup final between Nassarawa United vs Bayelsa United.
